  5.   Blest pair of Sirens, pledges of Heav'ns joy,
  6.   Sphear-born harmonious Sisters, Voice, and Vers,
  7.   Wed your divine sounds, and mixt power employ
  8.   Dead things with inbreath' d sense able to pierce,
  9.   And to our high-rais'd phantasie present,
  10.   That undisturbed Song of pure content,
  11.   Ay sung before the saphire-colour'd throne
  12.   To him that sits theron
  13.   With Saintly shout, and solemn Jubily,
  14.   Where the bright Seraphim in burning row
  15.   Their loud up-lifted Angel trumpets blow,
  16.   And the Cherubick host in thousand quires
  17.   Touch their immortal Harps of golden wires,
  18.   With those just Spirits that wear victorious Palms,
  19.   Hymns devout and holy Psalms
  20.   Singing everlastingly;
  21.   That we on Earth with undiscording voice
  22.   May rightly answer that melodious noise;
  23.   As once we did, till disproportion'd sin
  24.   Jarr'd against natures chime, and with harsh din
  25.   Broke the fair musick that all creatures made
  26.   To their great Lord, whose love their motion sway'd
  27.   In perfect Diapason, whilst they stood
  28.   In first obedience, and their state of good.
  29.   O may we soon again renew that Song,
  30.   And keep in tune with Heav'n, till God ere long
  31.   To his celestial consort us unite,
  32.   To live with him, and sing in endles morn of light.
